North County Ford is looking for a new Service Manager to join our team!

As an Automotive Service Manager at North County Ford, you will oversee the daily operations of our service department, ensuring that we provide top-notch service to our customers. This role is vital in maintaining our reputation for quality and reliability in automotive care.

Compensation: $180,000 to $340,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Manage the service department operations, including scheduling and workflow.
• Supervise and train service staff to ensure high-quality customer service.
• Develop and implement effective service writing practices to enhance communication with customers.
• Monitor repair orders for accuracy and completeness before finalizing services.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to services provided.
• Analyze departmental performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Service Manager or similar role in the automotive industry.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair processes.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in sales and cash handling is a plus.
